The manager will oversee all facets of BCDC’s U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented filings across all jurisdictions where we operate.
As a key collaborator, the Tax Manager will support day-to-day tax operations and work closely with the Global Head of Tax and the broader finance organization. A critical component of the role is the ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency by leveraging technology and implementing scalable tax solutions. Our team is committed to achieving full compliance, which includes meticulous tax provision calculation (ASC 740) and providing integrated tax support for new business lines and global expansion initiatives to maintain an effective tax structure.
Key Responsibilities: What You Will Do

- Tax Provisioning (ASC 740): Execute the calculation and comprehensive review of the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision.
- Credit Management: Oversee the coordination with internal and external advisors for the calculation, documentation, and defense of R&D tax credits and other relevant tax incentives.
- Audit & Inquiry Support: Serve as a key resource during U.S. federal tax audits and effectively manage and respond to all inquiries from the IRS and state authorities.
- Global Coordination: Oversee the preparation and filing of select non-U.S. income tax returns, actively managing the global tax calendar.
- Process Enhancement: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology and streamline federal income tax compliance systems.
Required Experience: What You Will Need
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is a mandatory requirement.
- 5+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally with a proven track record developed through a mix of time at a Big 4 accounting firm and in a corporate industry tax department.
- Substantial experience with the preparation and meticulous review of US federal and state income tax returns for multi-entity structures.
- Deep technical knowledge of U.S. tax provisions affecting international operations, including but not limited to Sub F, GILTI, FDII, and Foreign Tax Credits (FTCs).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical business teams.
- Outstanding detail-orientation and strong process management skills, coupled with a collaborative, positive attitude and a willingness to adapt quickly in a high-growth environment.
Nice To Have Qualifications:
- Prior working experience with Netsuite or a similar large-scale ERP system.
