As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily treasury operations for our Indian entities, serving as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, and ensuring seamless cash management across multiple bank accounts. Core Responsibilities
Daily Cash Management Operations
In this critical role, you will oversee comprehensive cash management activities for Dassault Systèmes' India bank accounts. Your responsibilities will include monitoring daily cash positions, supervising fund flows across Indian accounts, determining optimal bank balances, and executing fund transfers with precision and accuracy. You will be responsible for ensuring daily cash reconciliations are completed accurately and preparing inward remittance instructions to banking partners.
As the main contact in India for bank relationships, you will manage the complete lifecycle of bank accounts including opening new accounts, closing dormant accounts, and updating authorized signatories. Working closely with legal teams, you will prepare board resolutions and ensure all banking documentation meets regulatory and corporate governance standards. A key priority will be rationalizing the number of bank accounts to optimize operational efficiency.
Treasury Forecasting and Planning
You will prepare detailed treasury forecasts for three Indian entities, working in close collaboration with finance teams to ensure accurate cash flow projections. This strategic function requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to anticipate cash requirements, identify potential liquidity challenges, and recommend proactive solutions to maintain optimal working capital positions.
Foreign Exchange and Financial Operations
Your role encompasses performing foreign exchange operations with headquarters approval, preparing comprehensive documentation for FX transactions, and managing forward contracts on a timely basis with banking partners. You will track monthly FX positions and utilize hedging instruments to manage currency risk effectively. This responsibility requires staying current with foreign exchange markets, understanding hedging strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with treasury banking partners.
Banking Systems and Compliance
You will manage bank guarantees throughout their lifecycle including issuance, renewal, and closure, ensuring all documentation is properly maintained and communicated to the accounting team. Your responsibilities extend to managing intercompany loans, handling EDPMS transactions, and serving as the key treasury contact for online sales payment service providers.
Month-End Close and Reporting
As an integral part of the finance operations cycle, you will perform monthly closing activities, prepare treasury reports and key performance indicators, and ensure all treasury transactions are properly recorded and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Your reporting will provide critical insights to senior management regarding cash positions, banking relationships, and treasury performance metrics.
Compliance and Risk Management
You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with local regulations by monitoring cash flows, preparing required documentation, and maintaining Know Your Customer procedures for banking relationships. Working alongside the tax team, you will assist with tax refunds for Dassault Systèmes foreign entities and support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for treasury activities.
Systems Administration and Project Implementation
Your technical responsibilities include administering banking systems by providing access rights to authorized signatories and inputters, ensuring proper segregation of duties, and maintaining system security. You will contribute to group project deployments for India and participate in implementing new treasury management systems, bringing your practical expertise to enhance operational efficiency and control frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong academic foundation in financial management, corporate finance, and treasury operations
Professional Experience
- Four to five years of proven experience in cash management or treasury operations role
- Demonstrated expertise in core treasury functions including cash management, bank account administration, and closing EDPMS transactions
- Hands-on experience with bank guarantee management and audit coordination
- Previous experience working with banking systems and treasury management platforms
Technical Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of cash management principles, practices, and systems
- Strong understanding of financial markets, banking operations, and regulatory frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Familiarity with treasury management systems and enterprise resource planning platforms
- Understanding of foreign exchange markets and hedging instruments
