About the Role
One of the key core digital products is the DMS (dealer management system) across the network of dealers. The ideal candidate will be managing the DMS and working closely with dealers, service providers and BAL internal Business teams to deliver requirements and manage the operations. Should be self-directed, highly skilled in managing different teams, hungry to ensure adherence and desire to optimise productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- DMS Management: Manage DMS operations to support vehicle sales, service, parts, and finance; integrate with OEM & third-party systems.
- Process Optimisation: Streamline processes to improve dealership performance and customer satisfaction.
- Dealer Support: Training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to ensure adoption and timely issue resolution.
- Reporting & Analytics: Coordinate DMS reports/dashboards; track KPIs (sales, service revenue, inventory turnover) and provide insights.
- Project Management: Lead upgrades and dealer onboarding; manage vendors & OEM relationships.
- Monitor: Ensure effective system monitoring with the service provider for reliable operations.
- Collaboration: Liaison between dealerships, service providers, and internal business teams for compliance and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with DMS platforms/products in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations (sales, service, parts, finance).
- Ability to configure & optimise DMS for efficiency and performance.
- Experience with data integration between DMS, CRM, and OEM systems.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, IT, or related field.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with industry regulations (warranty claims, recall management).
Work Environment
Full-time role with occasional travel to dealership locations.
