What We're Looking For
- The ideal candidate brings substantial experience and a proven track record of excellence. You should have nine or more years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated success in delivering high-quality products that meet both technical and business objectives. Your experience should showcase your ability to work on complex systems and drive projects from conception to completion.
- Technical proficiency in Java is essential, as this will be your primary programming language. You should possess strong knowledge of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques. This foundational knowledge enables you to make informed architectural decisions and write efficient, maintainable code.
- Your skill set should extend to modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. While this is primarily a backend-focused role, understanding how to create seamless full-stack solutions is valuable for delivering complete features.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, or TestNG is important, as is the ability to integrate these tests into CI/CD pipelines. You should understand software quality principles deeply, including concepts around reliability, observability, and production readiness. When issues arise, you need to be able to troubleshoot complex systems effectively and optimize performance across the entire technology stack.
- A distinguishing aspect of this role is the emphasis on AI integration. We're looking for someone with experience leveraging critical thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, and problem-solving. Experience validating datasets, model predictions, and inference consistency will be particularly valuable.
