What You'll Do- Invoice Processing & AP Operations: Orchestrate the complete end-to-end invoice processing workflow, encompassing receipt, verification, coding, approval routing, and timely payment execution. You'll maintain meticulous attention to detail while ensuring full compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and efficiency of our global payment operations, requiring keen precision across all AP transactions and documentation.
- Case Management & Strategic Query Resolution: Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for AP-related inquiries from business owners and vendors across all regions. You'll leverage our case management system to log, track, and resolve complex queries within strict SLAs of 24-48 hours. Beyond simple problem-solving, you'll analyze recurring issues to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions that prevent future escalations.
- Customer Service Excellence & Stakeholder Engagement: Champion a customer-centric culture by proactively engaging with stakeholders through regular internal and external satisfaction surveys. You'll transform feedback into actionable improvement plans, ensuring every interaction delivers prompt, high-quality responses. Building and maintaining strong business partnerships across diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds will be essential to your success in this role.
- Process Improvement & Automation Innovation: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process optimization and automation, particularly targeting repetitive or routine queries. You'll implement AI-powered automated responses, orchestrate mass communications to stakeholders, and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Your continuous improvement mindset will help modernize our AP function and reduce manual workload across the team.
- Reporting, Analytics & Data Management: Develop comprehensive reports and metrics that provide visibility into AP processes, case management performance, and SLA adherence. You'll support ad hoc reporting needs, conduct data scrubbing exercises, perform quality audits, and lead duplicate payment reviews to ensure data integrity and process accuracy across all AP activities.
- Compliance, Controls & Risk Management: Serve as a guardian of compliance by ensuring rigorous adherence to internal policies, SOX controls, company procedures, and all applicable legal or regulatory requirements. You'll maintain process integrity while navigating complex regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions, including India-specific requirements such as TDS and GST compliance.
- Systems Expertise & Technology Enablement: Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of upstream and downstream systems, including Supplier Enablement platforms, Ariba, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), and SAP. You'll not only use these systems efficiently but also assist in troubleshooting, support system enhancements, and serve as a subject matter expert for process-related technical questions.
- Project Leadership & Change Management: Play a key role in AP-related projects, including merger and acquisition integrations, process clean-up initiatives, and system transitions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency during periods of organizational change, demonstrating leadership and adaptability throughout transformation efforts.
- Flexibility & Business Partnership: Exhibit exceptional flexibility to support evolving business requirements, including adapting to various shift schedules and taking ownership of additional responsibilities such as payment processing, invoice management, and ad hoc assignments. What You Bring Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 9+ years of experience in similar AP or finance roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes
- Deep understanding of SOX controls, P2P functions, and general accounting practices
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Ariba, and VIM platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service orientation with strong relationship-building abilities
