Job Overview
Rohde & Schwarz is strengthening its Human Resources department in Munich and is looking for a motivated Working Student in HR Development with a focus on AI-supported process automation and AI agents. As a working student, you will support the development of intelligent HR solutions that improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and create smarter internal services. You will work closely with HR professionals and technical experts, gaining practical insights into how AI and automation can be applied in real corporate environments. This role is ideal for students who want to move beyond theoretical knowledge and actively shape innovative HR tools while studying.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take on diverse and meaningful tasks that contribute directly to the digital evolution of HR processes. Your responsibilities include:

Data analysis and structured data preparation to enable the effective use of AI agents within HR workflows

Supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of AI-supported HR automation processes

Process automation using workflow tools such as n8n, ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions

Developing proof-of-concept solutions for AI-powered assistance systems and chatbots based on different platforms, systems, and databases

Creating and testing custom AI agents tailored specifically to HR use cases such as recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and internal knowledge management

Documenting processes, workflows, and results to support transparency and continuous improvement

Actively experimenting with new AI technologies and automation approaches to identify innovative use cases
This role gives you the freedom to explore, test, and improve ideas while working on projects that have a real impact on daily HR operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications

You are currently enrolled in an advanced degree program in:

Computer Science
- Computational Linguistics
- Data Science
- Technical Communication with an IT focus
- Or a comparable field of study

Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to problem-solving

Ability to work independently, responsibly, and in a solution-oriented manner

High level of curiosity and motivation to explore new technologies and AI-driven solutions
Preferred Skills

Experience with Python scripting

Familiarity with AI frameworks, machine learning concepts, or language models

Basic knowledge of automation and workflow tools, especially n8n, is an advantage

Creative mindset and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies

Working Conditions

You must be properly enrolled at a university for the entire duration of your employment
