ABOUT THE ROLE: WHERE DATA MEETS AI MEETS REVENUE GROWTH
Circle has successfully grown to $50 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) powered by a strong inbound motion and exceptional product-market fit. Now we're building the sophisticated data and AI infrastructure to make our sales team 10x more effective through intelligent automation, real-time analytics, and custom-built AI applications that drive meaningful business impact.
This strategic role sits on our Data & Revenue Operations team and represents a unique blend of three critical disciplines: analytics engineer, AI application developer, and sales force multiplier. You will directly support and collaborate with our sales team to design, build, and launch AI solutions that dramatically accelerate acquisition and expansion of revenue.
You'll build production-grade data pipelines that power critical business decisions, design AI-powered sales tools that augment human capabilities, and create analytics systems that turn raw data into actionable insights for our go-to-market teams. Your work will directly impact revenue, sales efficiency, and our ability to scale intelligently.
If you're genuinely obsessed with building elegant technical solutions that blend data engineering excellence, modern AI tooling, and deep go-to-market intuition, this is your role. You'll have the autonomy to architect systems, the resources to build them right, and the satisfaction of seeing your work drive measurable business outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Instrument and Operationalize Signal Detection
Build sophisticated data pipelines that capture intent signals from diverse sources including community engagement metrics, product usage patterns, social platform activity, and third-party enrichment tools (Common Room, Clay, and similar platforms). Transform these raw signals into scored, prioritized account lists that sales can action immediately. Help deploy scalable applications that utilize these signals to accelerate growth, improve conversion rates, and enhance our overall business intelligence.
Build and Maintain the Data Backbone for GTM Excellence
Construct and maintain the robust data infrastructure that powers Go-To-Market Excellence (GTME) and Enablement AI solutions. Ensure clean, reliable data flow between HubSpot CRM, our data warehouse, enrichment providers, and custom-built applications. This backbone is critical infrastructure that enables every other system to function effectively.
Build and Maintain Analytics Infrastructure for Sales Operations
Own the complete analytics infrastructure supporting sales operations—from data modeling and transformation pipelines (using dbt, SQL, and modern ELT patterns) to real-time dashboards and sophisticated reporting systems. Work in close alignment with our RevOps Sales lead to build out comprehensive tracking systems that measure what matters and surface insights that drive action.
Design and Ship AI-Powered Applications
Leverage Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), and rapid development frameworks (Lovable, Cursor, v0, Replit) to build and deploy AI-powered applications that automate tedious sales workflows, personalize outreach at scale, and surface intelligent insights that help reps close deals faster. Move quickly from concept to production, iterating based on user feedback and measurable impact.
Own the Full Stack of Sales Analytics
Take end-to-end ownership of sales analytics—from raw data ingestion and cleaning through semantic modeling layers to end-user facing applications and dashboards. Build reliable, scalable, well-monitored systems that sales teams can depend on daily for critical decisions. Ensure data quality, implement proper error handling, and create systems that degrade gracefully.
Prototype and Iterate Rapidly on AI Solutions
Build innovative agentic systems, enrichment tools, lead scoring models, and conversational interfaces that help sales representatives work smarter, not harder. Move quickly through prototype-to-production cycles, gathering feedback and iterating based on real-world usage and business impact.
Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions
Develop deep understanding of sales workflows, pain points, process bottlenecks, and opportunity areas. Use this GTM intuition to build tools that actually get adopted and used, not shelf-ware that looks good in demos but fails in practice. Collaborate closely with the GTME sales team to uncover new data-driven opportunities and prioritize high-impact projects.
Develop Predictive Models and Scoring Systems
Build sophisticated predictive models and scoring systems using SQL, Python, and modern ML frameworks to identify high-intent prospects, forecast pipeline accurately, optimize GTM motions, and allocate resources effectively. Turn historical data into forward-looking intelligence that drives better decisions.
Create Feedback Loops and Measurement Frameworks
Implement comprehensive measurement frameworks to track the impact of GTME and enablement solutions you've helped launch. Measure adoption metrics, revenue influence, rep productivity gains, and other KPIs that demonstrate ROI. Use these feedback loops to continuously improve and iterate on solutions.
Ship Internal Tools That Sales Reps Love
Build practical, user-friendly internal tools including enrichment workflows, Slack bots for real-time notifications, Chrome extensions that surface relevant data in-context, automated alerts for high-priority opportunities, AI research assistants, and lightweight applications that reduce manual work and cognitive load for sales teams.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
You'll work closely with three core teams, each representing a critical stakeholder in your success:
Sales Team - Your Primary Stakeholder
Act as an embedded technical partner to the sales organization, treating them as your primary customer and stakeholder. Take direction from Sales leadership and the GTME team, using their campaigns and application ideas as the foundation of your roadmap and priorities. Align the success of your deliverables to metrics that directly correlate with sales team success, including pipeline generation, conversion rates, deal velocity, and rep efficiency improvements.
Revenue Operations - Your Operational Partner
Co-own critical RevOps functions including data quality initiatives, lead scoring model development and refinement, campaign measurement and attribution, and CRM hygiene standards. Ensure your analytics infrastructure and tools integrate seamlessly with operational workflows, creating a cohesive ecosystem rather than disconnected point solutions.
Special Projects Team - Your Innovation Partner
Collaborate on deploying and scaling experimental agentic AI systems. Serve as the crucial bridge between cutting-edge experimental AI capabilities and production-ready sales applications. Provide real-world feedback loops and performance data that inform which experiments should scale and which should be discontinued.
