Specialist – Cloud Operations
Job Purpose
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and services. Deploy, configure, and optimise Azure and AWS resources while collaborating with development teams for automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Monitor, optimise, and scale resources to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
Automate deployment and management using Azure DevOps, AWS containerization, or other tools.
Implement security measures to protect cloud resources and data.
Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure high availability.
Stay updated with the latest Azure and AWS features and propose infrastructure improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support applications and services.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.COM (Essential) Certifications: Any Azure / AWS certification Experience: 6+ years overall infrastructure experience, 4+ years hands-on Azure/AWS
Preferred / Additional Requirements
Knowledge of on-premises infrastructure
Good understanding of application middleware (IAS)
Functional Competencies
Hands-on with Azure services: VMs, Storage, App Service, SQL Database, Active Directory
AWS: RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Terraform
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps automation
Monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
