Experience with Data Products: Must have hands-on experience in designing, building, and launching data-driven products and scalable global platforms. Familiarity with cloud-based data pipelines, distributed systems, and analytics dashboards will be highly valuable.

The Analytics Engineering owns all data at Zynga. We are accountable for the entire game and player data pipeline - from ingestion, storage, and powering analytics and insights. The Senior Software Engineer leads software design and development to produce high-quality products and services in support of the Analytics requirements in our games. You'll be part of our Analytics Engineering team, working on complex technology developments to build scalable data infrastructure and end-to-end services that can be used by various games. We're a 120+ person organisation supporting 1500 others in 13 global locations.

What You Bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a comparable technical field, or comparable work experience.
- At least 5 years of solid data engineering design/development experience in creating large-scale, distributed data platforms/products.
- Skilled coding ability in SQL & Python/JVM languages.
- Exposure to diverse data storage mechanisms like relational, NoSQL, in-memory, etc.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data lineage, data access, and data governance.
- Experienced in AWS services, including Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, EKS/ECS, S3
- Experience working with open source software, frameworks and up-to-date cutting-edge technologies (Airflow, DataHub, Kafka, etc.).
- Experienced in infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and observability tools like Terraform, DataDog, etc.
- Shown experience in having work accomplished on time and being detail-oriented.
- Effective written and oral communication and ability to work well in a globally distributed working scenario.
