📌 Job Overview
The Relationship Manager – Retail Lending will engage with retail customers to assess creditworthiness, identify product needs, and recommend suitable lending solutions. The role covers end-to-end loan processing, portfolio counselling to retain quality customers, risk mitigation, and cultivating business from existing and new corporate/developer relationships. Ideal for proactive candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Meet and interact with retail customers to understand needs and propose appropriate loan products.
- Assess customer creditworthiness through documentation review and financial discussion.
- Manage loan processing, documentation, and follow-through until disbursal.
- Counsel customers to build and retain a high-quality portfolio and reduce attrition.
- Implement risk management and process improvements to enhance portfolio performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporates and developers to generate business leads.
- Provide timely, professional communication to internal and external stakeholders.
🎯 Desired Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate — MBA / PGDM in Finance or Marketing.
- Experience: 0–5 years (freshers with strong aptitude and interpersonal skills are welcome).
- Excellent communication (oral & written), patience, and empathy.
- Customer orientation, high energy, integrity, and process discipline.
- Good negotiation and convincing skills; ability to explain products clearly.
- Time management, teamwork, and a result-oriented attitude.
