Position Summary
We're seeking an ambitious and technically skilled AI Engineer to join our product team in Amsterdam and play a pivotal role in accelerating our product-led growth strategy. This is an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of applied AI, building features that directly impact how the real estate industry approaches sustainability challenges.
In this role, you'll work across the full technology stack to design, build, and deploy AI-powered features that create measurable business value and exceptional user experiences. You won't be working in isolation—you'll collaborate directly with our leadership team, translating high-level strategic objectives into concrete technical implementations. Your work will span from rapid prototyping and experimentation to building production-ready features that scale across our growing customer base.
This position offers significant autonomy and impact. You'll have the freedom to identify optimization opportunities, propose innovative solutions, and see your ideas through from concept to deployment. This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam, requiring three days per week in our office to foster collaboration and maintain our strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Design and implement AI-powered features, including personalized content generation, intelligent recommendation systems, and automated user assistance capabilities
- Build rapid prototypes for quick validation and iterative development cycles
- Develop and validate new features using rigorous data analysis methodologies
Data & Analytics
- Analyze complex client datasets to identify optimization opportunities
- Translate data insights into automated, scalable solutions
- Apply A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis to measure feature performance
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with product and operations teams to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to articulate technical concepts and influence technical direction
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation, testing, and continuous iteration
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of full-stack engineering experience or demonstrated strong project-based track record
Technical Skills
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, PHP, CSS, and SQL
- Frameworks: Experience with Tailwind CSS, FastAPI, Django, Laravel, and ECharts
- AI/ML: Working knowledge of AI models, prompt engineering, RAG systems, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks
- Software Engineering: Strong understanding of version control, code review, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Data Analysis: Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract actionable insights
- Experimentation: Background in A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis
