About the Role
StoneX Financial Ltd is seeking a dynamic and motivated Derivatives Clearing and Execution Sales professional to join our expanding broking desk in Dubai. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual to leverage their established market relationships while developing new business opportunities in the fast-paced commodities derivatives market.
As a key member of our trading team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition, seamless trade execution, and exceptional customer service. Primary Purpose
Your primary mission will be to integrate into our established broking team and enhance our product offering to both new and existing clients. You will utilize your industry contacts and market expertise to grow our commodities business, onboard new customers, and provide best-in-class execution services across exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives products.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
You will be responsible for generating substantial new business revenue through proactive client onboarding and identifying internal cross-selling opportunities across the StoneX platform. Building and maintaining strong market relationships will be central to your success, as you establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients navigating the commodities derivatives landscape.
Your role involves executing and onboarding both OTC and listed customers, ensuring they receive seamless trade execution across options, futures, and arbitrage strategies. You will provide daily recaps and maintain ongoing communication to deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
Market Expertise & Brand Development
Developing and maintaining fundamental expertise in commodities markets is essential. You will stay current on market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends that impact the products and markets you serve. Through active participation in trade calls, industry events, trade shows, and conferences, you will continually promote the StoneX brand while gathering valuable market intelligence.
Your insights will help identify new markets, products, technologies, and opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. You will contribute to refining our desk's business strategy and continuously improving our operating model to maintain our competitive edge.
Trading Operations & Compliance
Beyond client-facing responsibilities, you will participate in pre- and post-trading operational duties, including trade reconciliation and booking, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies. Your attention to detail will be critical in maintaining accurate records and minimizing operational risk.
Understanding and managing risk is paramount. You must maintain awareness of the risk and compliance culture, understand the controls on your desk, and identify what could go wrong. You will be expected to escalate risk events immediately, log incidents within 24 hours through appropriate channels, and report all loss events or near misses exceeding reporting thresholds.
Your commitment to regulatory compliance means observing the highest standards of market conduct and ensuring full compliance with FCA, exchange, and clearing house requirements applicable to your role.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Professional Background
We seek candidates with demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the exchange-traded futures and options space. While a bachelor's degree is preferred, exceptional industry experience and a proven track record may be considered. Exposure to futures, swaps, and options is highly desirable.
Critical requirement: This role requires FCA approval or achievement of FCA-approved status within three months of employment.
