H&M Group is seeking an exceptional Digital Business Controller to join our dynamic digital team in Bengaluru. What You'll Do

As our Digital Business Controller, you will be instrumental in shaping the digital future of H&M Group in the region. Your primary responsibility will be contributing to digital profitable growth while maintaining comprehensive oversight of our digital commercial performance and the digital profit and loss statement. You'll work closely with the regional commercial team to plan, forecast, and monitor digital selling activities and the complete sales equation, ensuring we deliver exceptional financial results aligned with our strategic sales plan.

This role demands strong analytical capabilities combined with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. You'll need extensive experience in eCommerce with a thorough understanding of the complete digital ecosystem and eCommerce analytics. Your strategic mindset and business intuition will enable you to identify both customer needs and business opportunities effectively. A deep understanding of the key drivers and elements of the digital P&L is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance Management

You'll take ownership of maximizing profitable net sales and growing the customer base for your region and sales market, focusing on both short-term results and long-term sustainability. This involves driving net sales through day-to-day operations and executions in your region, supported by comprehensive sales and customer behavior analysis that gives you a complete understanding of your sales situation.

Strategic Analysis and Insights

Your analytical expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities and threats for your sales markets based on the biggest sales and customer impact factors. You'll suggest commercial activities, follow up on the final customer offer, and apply learnings to future actions. Key focus areas include driving selling with products and logistical capacity while following up on the total sales market reduction strategy aligned with regional objectives.

Digital P&L Ownership

You'll ensure the delivery of financial results for eCommerce and secure a high-quality digital sales plan by taking complete ownership of the digital budget, financial sales plan, and forecasts. This responsibility requires you to maintain a holistic view while driving and following up on the digital P&L comprehensively.

Planning and Forecasting Excellence

Working closely with the commercial team, you'll plan, forecast, and follow up on selling activities and the full sales equation. This includes setting detailed sales plans and equations on weekly and daily levels for each sales market, evaluating selling performance daily and hourly versus plans, and delivering actionable insights to relevant stakeholders promptly.

Analytics Leadership

You'll drive analytics, insights, and ways of working within the sales and operations team by connecting traffic, web, receipt, customer, and logistic data. Your role includes providing analytical support to the full team to further develop capabilities across the organization and foster a data-driven culture.

In this collaborative role, you'll work closely with colleagues from the digital team, including E-Commerce Leads and E-Commerce Commercial Managers. You'll be part of a diverse, talented team united by shared values and a passion for fashion and digital innovation. Educational Background

We're seeking candidates with a business, economics, or business development degree or relevant qualifications that demonstrate your expertise in commercial and analytical domains.

Strategic Thinking

You possess a strategic mindset that enables you to identify key drivers and associated actions to optimize digital sales and profit as part of the omnichannel P&L. You can see the big picture while managing detailed execution.

Analytical Excellence

Your strong analytical skills allow you to synthesize information effectively, turning complex analysis into concrete actions. You're adept at visualizing and presenting analysis and conclusions to a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership.

Technical Proficiency

You demonstrate a high level of salesmanship and analytical proficiency with the proven ability to translate data into actionable insights. You're advanced in Excel, Google Analytics, PowerBI, and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools), leveraging these platforms to drive business outcomes.

Collaboration Skills

You're an effective collaborator with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Your experience in proactively influencing plans and priorities drives profitability and total omnichannel profit growth across the organization.
