About the Role
This is a remote Financial Analyst – Technology position focused on supporting the finance function with planning, forecasting, and analysis. In this role, you'll work across:
- Financial planning — supporting the annual and ongoing planning cycles.
- Budgeting — helping build and maintain departmental and company budgets.
- Forecasting — updating forward-looking projections as the business evolves.
- Financial modeling — building models to support decision-making.
- Variance analysis — comparing actuals to plan and explaining differences.
- Expense management — planning and forecasting expenses.
- Headcount analysis — analyzing workforce costs and trends.
- Process improvement — identifying ways to make FP&A workflows more efficient.
- Business intelligence — using reporting and BI tools to surface insights.
- AI and automation — applying AI and automation tools to support finance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Build and maintain financial models
- Perform variance analysis comparing actuals to budget/forecast
- Plan and forecast expenses
- Conduct headcount analysis
- Produce financial reporting for stakeholders
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives
- Apply AI, automation, and business intelligence tools within FP&A work
What You Need
- 3+ years of relevant FP&A / finance experience
- Financial modeling experience
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Variance analysis experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Reporting experience
- Experience with FP&A systems such as Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, SAP or similar is preferred
- Exposure to AI, automation, and business intelligence tools
